Pulwama: Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Friday said that people carrying Pakistan flags should flood every nook and corner of Kashmir on September 4 as per the programme of the pro-freedom leadership.
“People of JK shouldn’t pin any hope on the visiting Indian parliamentarians because all of them are of the notion that ‘JK is India’s integral part and want to seek a solution under the ambit of Indian constitution’,” she said in a statement issued here.
“So, as per the already-announced programme, people carrying Pakistan flags especially in Srinagar should dot the airport road and every other street across Kashmir so that these parliamentarians from our enemy Country get a clear message that they have come to a place which doesn’t’ belong to India,” she said.
The visit, she said, was like adding “more salt to the wounds” of Kashmiri people.
“It is thus appealed that everyone comes of its home carrying green flags and also pro-azadi and pro-Pak slogans and azadi taranas should be aired from the loudspeakers of Masjids to clearly state that these parliamentarians haven’t to the city where tri-colour is hoisted but this is a place where we hoist only green flags with crescent inscribed on it,” she added.
Dukhtaran chief said that while the pro-freedom leadership “commends the resolve” shown by the people of south Kashmir and other northern districts of the Valley, it was now the duty of people of Srinagar to show “how dedicated they are to the cause of right to self-determination”.
“We have lost so many of our children, incurred heavy losses and have suffered at all levels, so we must show these Indian politicians that despite all odds and difficulties, people of Kashmir will continue their struggle until they see the end of Indian occupation,” she said. “These parliamentarians are coming to meet the Indian stooges and we have nothing to do with this visit. It is all useless and futile,” she added. Andrabi said that the government forces have developed “new methods” to kill the youths of Kashmir.
“A few days ago, a child Shahnawaz Khan was drowned to death at Sangam and on Thursday, our 12-year-old kid Danish Haroon was chased and then eventually forced to drown at Palpora area of Srinagar,” she said.
“This is the worst form of brutality which is unleashed to completely wipe out our youth,” she added. She said the world should take note that the government forces were “adopting every tactic to kill and maim Kashmiri youth”.
