BHADERWAH: Dawateislami Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday organised a one-day Seerat-un-Nabi conference here.
The conference was held under the chairmanship of Mulana Saleem Ahmed Aatari from Gujarat.
A galaxy of Muslim scholars including Mulana Shakeel Ahmed Aatari, Shaokat Ali Attari, Amajad Ali Naqash Bhandi Bhalessi, Mulana Noor Mohd Aatari, and Mulana Abdul Gaffar Naqshbandi were present at the event.
They also spoke on the Islamic teachings and life of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Speaking on the occasion, Mulana Sallem Ahmed Aatrai stressed upon the Muslim scholars to spread the message of peace among the people. He said it is fundamental to Islamic teachings.
He also advised the parents to give their children Islamic teachings besides other forms of education to make them good human beings and ambassadors of peace and prosperity.
He also expressed deep concern over the growing corruption, drug addicting and other social evils in the society and stressed on the need for the society to retrospect.
