SRINAGAR: Pakistan’s National Assembly speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has revealed that Pakistan has sent letters to the speakers of 196 Parliaments to highlight the rights abuses in Kashmir.

ght the rampant, unending and gross human rights abuses in Occupied Kashmir and to garner diplomatic and political support for the freedom struggle of Kashmiri people,” Radio Pakistan reported.
“The forceful occupation of Kashmir was against the modern norms of nation state and people’s basic right to self-determination,” Sadiq was quoted as saying.
He, as per the report, was talking to the president of Pakistan-administered Kashmir, Masood Khan, who called on him in Islamabad on Wednesday.
He said Pakistan will continue to extend its unwavering moral, political and diplomatic support to the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for their unalienable right of self-determination, as enshrined in the UN Charter and relevant UN resolutions.
