ISLAMABAD: PaK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has presented a six point proposal to resolve longstanding Kashmir issue in accordance with UN resolutions in Islamabad on Sunday.
It includes evolving unity among all political forces in PaK and enhancing contacts with representative leadership in Jammu and Kashmir.
The proposal stresses highlighting Kashmir issue through Kashmiris and Pakistanis settled in North American, European and Gulf States.
It calls for taking up with US Administration, US Congress, EU Parliament the issue of human rights violations by government forces in Kashmir.
Masood Khan said the doors of the United Nations, Human Rights Council and other concerned international institutions should be constantly knocked for the implementation of UN resolutions on Kashmir.
The United Nation should be urged to appoint special representative for monitoring the situation in Kashmir.
Efforts will also be made to demand India to resume dialogue with Pakistan for result oriented talk on Kashmir.
He said the platform of OIC will also be used in this regard.
Masood Khan said political and civil society of India will be appealed to prevail upon their government to stop atrocities and human rights violations in Kashmir.
The President also appealed to all political forces of PaK, media, civil and learned segments of the society to cooperate for implementation of this proposal.
