Lashkar asks people to fight for Kashmir’s freedom

Srinagar: While terming the visit of Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh to the Valley as mockery, Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) on Wednesday said that “despite Indian forces are killing, maiming and blinding civilians, for what purpose, HM has landed to Kashmir?.”

In an emailed statement issued to KNS, LeT chief, Mehmood Shah said that “people of Kashmir should not fall prey in Singh’s sayings and must only battle for freedom.”
While terming the Singh’s Kashmir visit as ‘mockery’, Shah said that unity among Kashmiris is the only way out for the liberation of Kashmir and “India can’t divide the people of Kashmir on the basis of caste and regionalism.”
“The need of the hour is that to ask Allah’s forgiveness by holding jointed prayers across the roads and four-ways in order to stay united,” a statement quoting Lashkar Chief as saying.
