Geelani asks people to be prepared for harsh days

Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani telephonically addressed a huge gathering in Moolu Chitragam Shopian and emphasized on the discipline and dedication of the people during the ongoing uprising.

“It is a long and difficult movement and unless we seek the blessing of Almighty Allah we can’t succeed,” he said appealing people to be prepared for “more hard and harsh days to come”.

District President Shopian Mohammad Yousuf Falahi also spoke on the occasion.

Meanwhile on the directions of Syed Ali Geelani, a team of Hurriyat activists including Advocate Devinder Singh, Bashir Ahmad Qureshi, Feroz Saraz, Syed Mohammad Shafi and Imtiyaz Ahmad visited to Galwanpora Hyderpora to address a huge public rally there. (KNS)
