Khrew incident a tip of the ice berg: JKLF

SRINAGAR: The JKLF said on Friday that “hooliganism” by Indian army at Khrew is actually a tip of the iceberg as “Indian forces for last 43 days have been terrorising people of Kashmir through this kind of state-sponsored terrorism”.
“After killing an innocent educationist in cold blood at Shaar Khrew ordering a so-called inquiry is nothing but an old drama staged to provide killers a clean chit,” JKLF said. “Every village, every Mohalla and every locality bears a witness to same kind of Indian hooliganism in Kashmir.”
These remarks were made by vice-chairman JKLF, advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, while addressed a gathering at Chanapora, a statement issued here said.
He said that Kashmir is witnessing a “worst phase of state sponsored terrorism”.
“Whole valley is facing the wrath of hooligans in uniform who are vandalizing residential houses, private vehicles and public property at-will as they have been ordered to do so by so-called rulers and occupational authorities,” he said.
He appealed youth to follow the joint resistance leadership’s programmes.
“Our protest especially during night hours should remain totally peaceful so that Indian forces and police get no chance to attack the sanctity of our homes and localities during night hours,” he said.
