Rajouri, Kishtwar shuts against Kashmir killings

Rajouri: Muslims in Rajouri and Kishtwar towns observed a complete shutdown against the innocent killings in Kashmir. The call for shutdown was issued by religious scholars to protest against the civilian killings by the government forces in last month.

Shops and business establishments owned by a Muslim community remained closed while attendance of students in schools and colleges remained thin.  A large group of youngsters also held a protest demonstrations and chanted slogans against the highhandedness of the government forces in Kashmir in the aftermath of killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.
