Bar urges free legal aid in Tangmarg, other places

Srinagar: Kashmir High Court Bar Association on Tuesday requested the lawyers of Tangmarg and other places, not to charge any amount from any person for obtaining bail from the courts.
In a statement issued here, a spokesman of lawyers’ body said that the association has already kept a team of three lawyers, available in lower court Srinagar, for providing free legal aid to the people.
“We also request the lawyers of Tangmarg and other places, not to charge any amount from any person for obtaining bail from the courts, but follow the pattern which has been adopted by J&K High Court Bar Association, Srinagar, by appointing a team of lawyers, for providing free legal aid to the people at this crucial juncture,” the spokesman said.
The lawyers’ body also expressed condolence to the members of the Bar Association Baluchistan and other civilians, who were killed by the “forces inimical to Pakistan” and requested the people of Pakistan to unite and foil all the attempts of these forces in disestablishing the country by their nefarious designs.
