‘Anti-movement elements working overtime’

SRINAGAR: Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, on Monday expressed concern that in several areas some “mischievous and anti-movement” elements were working overtime to give a bad name to the ongoing uprising.
They, he said, were trying to “create discord among the people and trying to rake up communal and sectarian issues”.
He asked people to beware of these elements, saying that the Sikh and Pandit community of Kashmir were an “inseparable part of the Kashmiri society and as safe as we are here”.
