Srinagar: Senior Hurriyat Conference (G) leader and National Front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan on Sunday said time has come for every Kashmiri to “suspend all sorts of engagements and come on roads to strengthen the ongoing anti-India uprising” through peaceful and disciplined protests.
In a statement issued here, Khan said the occupational forces are on a killing spree in Kashmir and asserted that pro-India politicians are playing a “very dirty and criminal role with their own people by collaborating with the occupiers”.
“Imagine if all pro-India politicians will shun collaborating with New Delhi, who will implement the Indian imperialism in Kashmir? If these politicians feel the pain of Kashmiris in their hearts they should immediately join the uprising against the Indian occupation,” he said.
The National Front chairman paid tributes to those killed in Chadoora, Khansahib, and Sopore at the hands of government forces while expressing anguish over the injuring of about 500 persons in a single day. “This proves how India and its paid agents want to crush the unarmed Kashmirs. Such kind of atrocities cannot break the will of Kashmiri people who have once again pledged not to rest till India leaves the occupied territory,” he said.
The Hurriyat leader also expressed solidarity with the martyred and injured persons and prayed for their speedy recovery.
