Srinagar: Expressing concern over government forces’ trend of “brutally” killing people travelling alone at night, Hurriyat Conference (M) on Sunday said these forces are on a mission to eliminate Kashmiris while appealing people not to travel alone at night.
In a statement issued here, a spokesman of the conglomerate said Kashmiris are getting more and more vulnerable to the atrocities and brutalities of Indian forces who “are on a mission to eliminate” them.
“The cases of Riyaz Ahmed of Chattabal and Bilal Ahmad Malik of Daferpora, Pulwama, are examples. People must be extremely cautious in such a scenario and should avoid travelling alone and late in the night,” he said.
The spokesman expressed solidarity with the family of Bilal Ahmad Malik and paid tributes to him. “Such cold-blooded murders of innocent Kashmirirs are a blot on the face of humanity but it will not discourage people from fighting for their basic right of freedom,” he said.
The spokesman also condemned the continuous raids and harassment of people saying the state government is trying every “undemocratic” trick to overcome the passion of people’s resistance.
