SVC asks VO to expedite investigation into sale of state land

Srinagar: State Vigilance Commission (SVC) has directed Vigilance Organization (VO) to complete the remaining part of the investigation into Illegal sale of state land at village Gharota in tehsil Jammu so that departmental and legal action is initiated against the  revenue officials and the beneficiaries involved in the scam.
A SVC statement said that the directions were passed while examining the investigation report furnished by Vigilance Organization  in FIR No 23 registered with Police Station, Vigilance Organization Jammu on November 30, 2012, pertaining to illegal sale of State land at Gharota in tehsil Jammu.
