SRINAGAR: “The continuous protests have only one goal, that is to liberate Jammu Kashmir from the illegal occupation of India,” the incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik said on Monday.
He said the chief minister Mehbooba Muti and her ministers by portraying that ‘all is well’ in Kashmir are “trying to befool themselves”.
In a statement issued here, Malik lashed out at pro-India politicians by terming them as “anti-Kashmiri” whose main job is to strengthen the “illegal occupation” of India.
“India and its Kashmiri stooges are engaged in a continuous propaganda against the people’s revolution by trying to portray these protests as aimless events sponsored by some vested interests. Pro-India politicians and parties are a bunch of collaborators who are deployed to legalise the crimes of Indian forces in Kashmir and safeguard New Delhi’s interests at any cost. But history is witness that no freedom movement till date has been defeated by such gimmicks and hypocritical politics,” he said.
Malik said: “Today people of Jammu Kashmir from Poonch to Uri, Bhaderwah to Banihal, and Qazigund to Teetwal stand united against Indian occupation and are demanding freedom. Despite this indigenous people’s movement, India and its stooges are trying to dub it as a sponsored one.”
Terming the recent remarks of chief minister as “shameless”, JKLF chief pro-freedom camp has always cared for the education and upliftment of the new generation.
Malik also condemned the “state sponsored terrorism” unleashed upon the people of Valley.
