FIR against 5 for raising pro-Pak slogans in Kishtwar

Jammu: Police have registered an FIR against five people for allegedly raising Pro-Pakistan slogans in Kishtwar of Jammu region during the strike called by the Hurriyat and JKLF following the killing of Hizb commander Burhan Wani.
“An FIR was registered against five people for allegedly raising ‘pro-Pak’ slogans and disturbing the peace in Kishtwar district during a protest,” a senior police officer was quoted by a wire news agency.
The officer said that situation is peaceful in the district at present. Pertinently Kishtwar observed shutdown in response to the call given by the Hurriyat and JKLF and local clerics against the alleged use of force in Kashmir by government forces.
