Mehmood Ghaznavi new Hizb head for Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen has appointed Mehmood Ghazna¬vi as the new chief for Kashmir.
As per Hizb statement to news agency CNS, Mehmood Ghaznavi will take con¬trol of the organization after the death of Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
“The decision was taken in Hizb Com¬mand Council that was presided by outfit chief Syed Salahuddin,” the statement reads.
The outfit paid rich tributes to Burhan Muzaffar Wani and his associates and prayed for their departed souls. “During the meeting rich tributes were paid to 13 July 1931 martyrs and it was reiterated that freedom struggle will continue till it is taken to its logical conclusion.”
Pertinently, a mega conference will be organized in Muzzafarabad, the capital city of Pakistan administered Kashmir in honour of 1931 martyrs on Wednesday in which leaders from Unit¬ed Jihad Council and Hurriyat Confer¬ence will participate.
