Srinagar: Principal government medical colleges and its associated hospitals Dr Kaiser on Sunday said they are on “alert” and have stopped routine surgeries because of the rush of injured people.
“We are on alert and have put extra wards for wounded. We have asked staff to reach hospital,” he told Kashmir Reader.
As many as 87 injured people are admitted in the hospital and out of them 6 are critical, he added. So far, four people have died in the hospital since yesterday including a fresh inmate from Pulwama on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, two fresh inmates from Pampore have been admitted in SKIMS Soura. MS SKIMS Dr Farooq Jan said one among the injured has a bullet injury while the other one has received pellets.
