5 CRPF troopers injured in two grenade attacks

PULWAMA: Four CPRF troopers were injured when suspected militants threw two rifle grenades and fired at a camp hosting CRPF and police in Litter, Pulwama.
Superintendent of Police Pulwama Mohammad Rayees Bhat said militants fired two rifle grenades on 182 Battalion (F-Coy) CRPF and SOG camp on Friday night.
One grenade exploded outside the camp and the other inside the camp, injuring four personnel.
The injured troopers are Assistant Sub Inspector B. Pawar, Head Constable Datatra Chowhan, Constable Mukhtar Ahmad and Constable Suresh Chowhan. They have been hospitalized.
Militants also threw a grenade on a CRPF patrol at T Chowk near Police Station Tral, injuring head constable Ramakant Goutam.
He was shifted to sub-district hospital Tral for treatment.
