SRINAGAR: People from different walks of life on Thursday visited JKLF office at Abi Guzar here to express condolence with the party over the demise of its patron Amanullah Khan, who passed away on Tuesday in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
He was laid to rest on Thursday at Eidgah in Gilgit area of Pakistan-administered Kashmir as per his last wish.
According to a JKLF statement, various political leaders, social activists, students, and people visited the party’s Srinagar office.
“National Front chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan, APDP chief Parveena Ahanagar, Moulana Reyaz Ahmad Shah, Abdul Rashid of Mass Movement, Chamber of Commerce president Mushtaq Ahmad and general secretary Faiz Bakhshi, traders’ delegations, students of universities and colleges were among the visitors,” it said.
The statement said a congregational condolence meeting would be held at JKLF’s Abi Guzar office on April 30.
