Rana assails PDP-BJP for perpetrating polarisation

JAMMU: National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana has assailed PDP-BJP combine for sowing seeds of discord and perpetrating polarization by bringing regions and communities eyeball to eyeball situation as per sinister political strategy.
“There is a huge contradiction between words and actions of the coalition partners”, Rana said while addressing Provincial Vice Presidents and District Presidents of the Jammu Province at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here this morning.
Referring to what he called deceptive posturing of the alliance partners, Rana said that while claiming to unite the regions and bridging the gap between different segments of society, they have unleashed their respective cadre to promote division on regional and religious lines.
Rana, however, cautioned the coalition not to undermine sagacity of the people, who were capable of reading between lines, and said National Conference will fight divisive elements and not allow their sinister machinations to succeed. He complimented the cadre for appreciating the need for strengthening amity and tranquility and remaining in the forefront to isolate divisive forces.
Rana also castigated the PDP-BJP Government for contemptuously ignoring peoples’ aspirations and taking vicarious pleasure in their accumulating woes.
Rana described lack of coordination between various components of the government detrimental to the interests of the sensitive state, which needs special dispensation for its unique problems.
