Srinagar: JKLF Chairman Javaid Mir has expressed grief over the demise of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Supreme leader Ammanullah Khan. Khan passed away on early Tuesday in Rawalpandi, Pakistan after a brief illness.
He said passing away of Khan is a loss to the Kashmir resistance movement while expressing his syampathise with the bereaved family.
Khan has written two books, Free Kashmir (English) and my autobiography (in Urdu), and about three dozen booklets and pamphlets in English and Urdu about different aspects of the Kashmir issue and the ‘Freedom Movement’.
Meanwhile, Javaid Ahmad Mir has appealed the people of Kashmir to reach Lal Chowk Srinagar on Wednesday at 1:30pm for offering prayers in absentia for the departed soul.
