Srinagar: It was a pleasant morning in the summer capital with the minimum temperature settling at 6.0 degrees celsius even as the weathermen have predicted possibility of light rains at isolated places in Kashmir division.
“The minimum temperature at 8:30 am was recorded 3 notches below normal for this time of the year. The humidity level was recorded at 59 percent,” a MeT official said.
The mercury is likely to rise to a maximum of 22 degrees celsius today. While skies are expected to remain clear during the day, light rains might occur at isolated places in Kashmir on Tuesday.
Yesterday, the maximum temperatures in Srinagar and Jammu were recorded at 20.0 and 33.8 degrees celsius respectively.
