Srinagar: Many parts of Srinagar wore a deserted look on Friday as curfew-like restrictions have been imposed in the Valley .
The restrictions have been imposed to prevents protests against the four civilian killings in Handwara.
Kashmir has been on edge with mobile internet snapped to prevent flow of information on Handwara killings. Restrictions continue on the third day in many localities of north Kashmir, old city and Maisuma.
Pro-freedom groups have appealed people for staging protests after Friday prayers.
A procession was taken out in north Kashmir’s Bandipora town on Friday against Handwara killings.
Large number of people took out a rally from Gulshan Chowk to Nowpora Chowk in the town seeking justice for the victims.
Four civilians including an elderly woman were killed by government forces in Handwara.
