Srinagar: The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, observed yet another cloudy day following incessant rains on Saturday.
Because of the inclement weather, the minimum temperature dropped slightly from yesterday by few notches.
The minimum temperature recorded in Srinagar on Sunday was 8.1 degrees celsius while as the maximum temperature rose to 17.4 degrees celsius. The winter capital Jammu recorded a maximum temperature of 29.9 while as the minimum temperature was settled at 15.1 degrees celsius respectively.
There was, however, no report of rainfall till evening in the state.
As per the MeT officials, there will be light to moderate rainfall on 11th of April at most places of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Light to moderate rain and thundershowers would occur at many places across J&K during the next 24 hours,” a MeT official said.
The relative humidity in Srinagar recorded in the evening was 84% while as in the morning it was 60%.
