Srinagar: Fresh rainfall in the late Friday evening in most parts of Srinagar bringing down a slight dip in temperature after a day of sunshine and dry weather.
The local MeT department has, however, forecast dry weather mostly dry weather over the state for the next 24 hours with little traces of rainfall at few places.
Further, there will be mainly clear sky on Jammu to Srinagar national highway on Saturday.
According to MeT officials, a fresh western disturbance is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir from April 10.
The maximum temperature for Srinagar on Friday was 16.7 degrees celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 5.7 degrees celsius.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was 9.5 degrees celsius while the maximum temperature rose to 17.9 degrees celsius
