Pampore: Four persons including two woman were injured on NH1A at Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
The incident took place when a Maruti car bearing registration No JKO3-7100 driven by Imtiyaz Ahmed Malla resident of Tulbagh Pampore, coming from Anantanag, collided with a Santro (coming from opposite direction) bearing registration No JKO1M-4327 at Litterbal Kadlabal on Thursday.
The driver of the Maruti car got injured while the three passengers identified as Ghulam Mohd Malla resident of Kadlabal Pampore, Mst. Shabnam resident of Qamarwari Srinagagr, and Mst. Haleema resident of Tulbagh Pampore were safe.
Imtiyaz Ahmad, injured driver, was referred to SMHS in the summer capital for further treatment, SHO Manzoor Ahmad Beigh told Kashmir Reader, adding,”We have started investigations in this regard.”
Meanwhile, the driver of the Santro car managed to escape from the spot.
