SRINAGAR: Hizbul Mujahideen on Thursday paid tributes to the two militants killed in an encounter in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
In an emailed statement to local news agency KNS, a Hizb spokesman, quoting the outfit’s chief Syed Sallahudin, said the militants were “precious assets of Kashmir nation”.
“The martyrs sacrificed their precious lives for the Kashmir’s freedom and Islam. And they have set a history which can’t be forgotten,” he said.
The Hizb chief has appealed to the people to help the militants “expose the black sheep” within them.
