Geelani’s residence cordoned day before his arrival from Delhi

SRINAGAR: A day before Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani is scheduled to return from Delhi, police on Tuesday evening cordoned off his Hyderpora residence which is also the conglomerate’s office.
Hurriyat (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar told Kashmir Reader over phone that a large contingent of police cordoned off Geelani’s residence which on Tuesday evening.
Condemning the authorities’ action, Akbar said, “Geelani Sahib has not even returned and the so-called administration has resorted to such undemocratic act.”
After staying for two months in Delhi for medical treatment, Geelani will return to Valley today.
