Srinagar: J&K Bank Chairman and CEO Mushtaq Ahmad on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the J&K Bank Office Complex at Railhead Panama Chowk Jammu.
He said that the expansion of bank’s presence across the state for the last few years needs a matching increase in the bank’s human resource and infrastructural capacities.
“We are taking necessary measures to meet both these requirements for a better and brighter future of our business,” he said.
The ceremony was attended by Regional Director (RBI) D Shetty, Vice chairman Jammu Development Authority (JDA) Mubarak Singh, Director on the bank’s board Masooda jabeen,J&K bank’s Executive President Parvez Ahmad and Senior President M S Wani.
Mushtaq added that with our rich legacy of last seventy seven years, we shall continue to work for financial empowerment of the people particularly in our region amid ever-changing banking landscape.

Head Jammu and Ashutosh Sareen Zonal Head Jammu.
The new Office Complex will be eco-friendly and house a currency chest, business unit, an auditorium and an office of the bank. The state-of-the-art complex shall have two basements and five floors.
