NFSA implementation: Bijbehara shuts down

ANANTNAG : A complete shutdown is being observed in Bijbehara township today against the implementation of National food security act (NFSA). All the shops, other business establishments and private offices are shut in most of tbe market places of tbe town while as Zirpara is witnessing a normal business with shops in the locality remaining open.
Locals said that the shutdown is being observed as a protest against the implementation of NFSA. “It is not possible for the people in valley to meet their needs with 3 kgs of rice. Government should immediately roll back the law,” said a shopkeeper, Masood Ahmad.
