Bangladeshi national arrested for ‘unauthorised entry’ in Mendhar

JAMMU: A Bangladeshi national was on Thursday booked in a case of unauthorised entry to India after his arrest from a village in Mendhar area of Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said that the man, identified as Abu Tahir, son of Abdul Manaf, a resident of Bangladesh, was arrested from Gohlad village.
“A police team led by SDPO Mendhar Shahid Nayeem is interrogating the arrested person,” said the official.
“He was booked under Foreiners’ Act and Passports Act.”
