Media students from Mumbai visit Central University Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A group of media students along with their faculty from the Wilson College in Mumbai, on Saturday, interacted with the students and faculty of Central University of Kashmir’s Convergent Journalism department at its Nowgam-I campus.
During the interaction, Controller of Examinations and in charge Registrar, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), Prof. Nazir Ahmad Gilkar while expressing gratitude to the visiting delegation appreciated the efforts of department for arranging interactive sessions with other institutions.
Earlier, Department of Convergent Journalism (DCJ) Coordinator, Asif Khan briefed the delegation about the Convergent Journalism programme, future plans and other activities carried out by the department.
A documentary made by DCJ students, ‘SAAZ’ was also screened on the occasion.
Head Department of Mass Media Studies Sudhakar Solomonraj while expressing his appreciation thanked Central University officials for facilitating the visit to the campus.
