Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference(G) chairman Syed Ali Gilani Saturday  said that website Cobra Post’s sting operation disclosure on Babri Masjid  showed that the both Congress and BJP had no difference in their policies towards the Muslims and were acting upon the plan of making India a Hindu national state.
Geelani  also attacked the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid in New Delhi for extending support to Congress.  “ Be it the Shahi Imam, Omar Abdullah, Saifuddin Soz, these people are ‘low-rung soldier’ of Sonia Gandhi and  have been used to cover the anti-Muslim face of Congress party,” Geelani said in  a statement.
“On the one hand Shahi Imam has mortgaged his faith with the Congress for petty interests and on the other hand Omar Abdullah is acting as a sycophant for the Congress only to come again into the power in Jammu and Kashmir. National Conference has always been in search of power and chair and for obtaining this, they have not only supported Congress but on times they have even shaken their hands with BJP,” he said.
