PAMPORE: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) Friday organized a plantation drive to mark World Arbour Day in its Pampore campus.
About 50 saplings of junipers were planted in the campus by the employees of the institute. Senior manager administration, Zamir Ahmad Qadri; in-charge academics Kursheed ul Islam; manager human resource, Syed Firdous Bukhari and a number of officials from different institute participated in the plantation drive.     
The employees were apprised of the importance of tree plantation and were motivated to grow trees along their houses, fields and wastelands.
