SRINAGAR: According to Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir, all contract carriage, taxi and maxi cab operators are informed to approach the respective Regional Transport Officer and Assistant Regional Transport Officers for affixing of High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) as it is mandatory for all types of vehicles under Central Motor Vehicles Act, besides Supreme Court orders.
For affixing of HSRP on all types of vehicle, all vehicle owners including private as well as commercial are asked to implement the directions at an earliest failing which action will be taken against the defaulters, an official statement said Friday.
