Italian marines arrive in India to face trial; Khurshid says they won't face death penalty

The two Italian marines accused of killing two fishermen off the Kerala coast returned to India on Friday after India gave an assurance that they will not face death penalty nor will they be arrested, bringing to an end a raging 11-day diplomatic row between the two countries. The marines, Massimiliano Latore and Salvatore Girone, arrested in connection with the killing of the fishermen in February last year

CBI raids: SUV of M K Stalin’s son still missing

Nearly 16 more imported luxury vehicles have been seized in CBI raids as part of its probe into the alleged racket run by a Hyderabad-based businessman involving violation of customs law, a case which came into limelight after searches at DMK leader MK Stalin’s residence.
